This is surely the souvenir to end all souvenirs!
The Lions have been generous autographers during their N. Z. tour and this, er, corset is endowed with the signatures of all the team.
It belongs to a Gisborne woman (we don't know her name so don't ask us!), but we do understand the circumstances are not what they might appear to be at first glance!

Peter Lister, the young Gisborne boxer from the City Gym., wearing the J. D. Donovan Memorial Belt, the highest North Island award, for the most scientific boxer, He is the youngest boxer to hold trophy.

Gisborne Museum recently had on display a selection of oil paintings by William Hodges, who was draughtsman on Captain Cook's second voyage, and other Cook relics. Cook's log book, open at the page recording his visit to these parts, is pictured.
