Local Art Display

Gisborne's Art Gallery was crowded to capacity for the annual exhibition of work by members of the Gisborne Society of Arts, when 150 pictures were on display.

A strong students' section drew favourable comment, while the work of senior members of the society was notable for some departures in new styles and techniques.
