This is all you have to do:

Send To "Photo News", 284 Aberdeen Rd. Gisborne. A Glossy Print, Size 6" × 5", Of Yourself, Full-Length. In Your Best Ballroom Gown. Tell your photographer that the picture is for the "Photo News" competition. Pictures by any photographer, amateur or professional, will be accepted, but "Photo News" cannot contract to take pictures.

The Rules are simple:

1. All entrants must reside in the "Gisborne Photo News" circulation area, bounded in the north by the Waiotahe River, near Opotiki, and in the south by the Mohaka River.

2. All prints entered must be 6" × 3" glossy.

3. All prints must bear, on reverse side, the Christian name and surname of entrant, occupation, and address.

The Final Selection Will Be Made From Published Pictures Only

Judges will be:

The Mayoress of Gisborne, Mrs H. H. Barker.

Mrs Pat Woodford, well-known Operatic Society producer.

The Editor of "Photo News", Mr R. Logan.
