At Eastwoodhill

The roads near Eastwoodhill, Ngatapa, were lined with parked cars on a Sunday afternoon this month. The occasion was the annual visit to Eastwoodhill, the home of Mr W. D. Cook, when the public has the opportunity to roam over this magnificently-planted beauty spot and admire the autumn colourings of the great variety of trees and shrubs growing there.

This year the proceeds were in aid of the Youth Hostel Association.
