Prime Minister's Visit

The Prime Minister and Minister for Maori Affairs, Mr W. Nash, paid a visit to the district last week. Mr Nash met Maoris and discussed a number of important questions with them. He also inspected erosion at the Waipaoa River headwaters and agreed that urgent action was necessary.
