The chief bridesmaid was Ifaiehu Te Purei, of Auckland, assisted by Rosemary Kahaki, Napier, sister of the groom, and Janet Mackay, Gisborne, sister of the bride. Nohoroa Haapu, Whangara, cousin of the bride, was flower girl, and the page boy was Taipu Te Kani. The best man was M. Kenny, Auckland, and the groomsmen Te Ariki Tureia and J. Mackay.
