No Need for Margot!

Dame Margot Fonteyn is coming to New Zealand, but is her trip really necessary?

Judging by the pictures at left, it would seem we have some of the world's best ballerinas right here in Lil Ole Gisborne.

In the top picture they are Colin Pierce, Sam Swarbrick,Bruce Morrison, Dick Clay and Ray Donnelly.

Occasion was an Old Boys Football Club farewell for Bruce. He's played hooker for the club and for Poverty Bay, and coached the club 10th graders. Now he's off back to Whangarei to go into business.

In the middle picture, Bruce and Sam display their ample charms.

And in the third picture are seen two famous bottoms that are tops in show business.

Show business is right. We should have said poppy-show business!
