High School Jubilee

Already Gisborne is host to scores of old pupils of the High School who have returned for the Jubilee Celebrations which are to commence tomorrow. One of the focal points of interest will be this handsome new pavilion on the school sports ground, erected by former pupils in memory of fellow scholars who died in the World War. It is to be opened on Saturday afternoon. The jubilee programme commences tomorrow, Friday with an assembly of past and present pupils. Jubilee balls will be held at Poho-o-rawiri and the Army Hail tomorrow night. Roll call is on Saturday morning, to be followed by other functions, and there will be a service at the boys' school on Sunday morning.
