The late Mr G. T. Wildish, with Mrs Wildish--a photograph taken on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Mr Wildish, whose death occurred in his 94th year, was a former Mayor of Gisborne, and was prominently associated with many community local bodies and organisations, including the Fire Brigade and Fire Board, the Borough Council, and Great War committees. He took a keen and active interest in educational affairs, serving on the H. B. Education Board, the High School Board, and the Central School Committee.
