Matawai School Jubilee

Over 400 former pupils of the Matawai School answered the roll call at the jubilee celebrations of the school held during January. A most successful re-union was held, favoured by beautiful weather, and marked by the renewal of many old friendships.

Much interest and hearty laughter was caused when L. and G. Robb, on horses, and N. Russell and I. Hansen (in a trap) arrived for the celebrations in the mode of bygone years, dressed to suit the part.
