A new Lodestar aircraft for the Fieldair fleet arrived at Darton Field recently.

This 1926 Willys Overland has just completed something of a record journey. Her owner, D. W. Fryer, Stout Street, took her on a trip to Tokoroa and back, a journey of over 200 miles, using only five gallons of petrol and a paltry single pint of oil. Surely quite an achievement in these days when the vital liquid costs 4/5 a gallon!
