Poultry Show

The annual show of the Poverty Bay Poultry Pigeon and Cage Bird Society was held this year at the showgrounds, attracted many and varied entries.

Best bantam in the show was this entry from R. Morrison, New Plymouth.

Best homer in show was this fine specimen entered by D. Hunter, Hastings.

These are examples of the rare silver spangled hamburg, of which there are only five Known breeders in the North Island. The cock and hen were entered in this year's poultry show by K. E. Jackson, Ruatoria.
