Roving Camera

Two machines were engaged at Mangatu Blocks on weed spraying.

Mr Wiren has been in the electrical trade in Gisborne for 13 years, as a partner in Wiren & Monk Ltd.

Pictures taken by Mr W. Harris, Te Hua Station, Whatatutu show the helicopter which crashed on the station on May 20. The machine struck a telephone wire and was so badly damaged as to be thought beyond repair. The pilot, Mr L. Stephens, received rib injuries and shock and was admitted to the Cook Hospital.

More than one biscuit was broken recently when a big biscuit carrying truck left the Morere road and crashed down a steep hillside. Picture shows type of country, with top of truck just showing.

The engagement is announced of Anna, third daughter of Mr and Mrs M. Huhu, 50 Atkinson Street, to Bert, son of Mr and Mrs B. Baker, Daphne Street.
