Starting Young

Any Saturday morning down at the skating rink in Grey Street, 45 or 50 youngsters may be seen busily getting mobile on skates. They are members of a class for kiddies down to the smallest tiny tot, which is fostering interest and skill in the sport of skating.

Instructors are Miss Barbara Murray, Mrs Allen and Mr George Maddren. They get a big kick out of teaching the youngsters, are rewarded by seeing them quickly learn the art. Any children who want to learn are welcome to join the class.
