Thrills, Spills at Patutahi

Opotiki riders were to the fore when the Gisborne Motor-Cycle Club held a track meeting at Patutahi, and some fast times were recorded.

The main event at the meeting was the North Island Miniature T.T. championship, for which 14 riders entered.

The title was taken by B. Scobie (Opotiki), who recorded the fast time of 10 min 12 sec for the race. Gisborne riders filled second and third places.
