A Skilled Craftsman

Nobody in Gisborne can remember a bull getting into a china shop, and as there are no china shops in Ormond Road or the Esplanade, the odds are now against such an event here. But if it did happen, the result would provide a lot of overtime for one newly-arrived Gisborne craftsman. He is Mr K. Munnings, now employed by a Gladstone Road china and glassware firm.

Mr Munnings is an English-trained specialist in the restoration of antiques, broken objets d'art, china, etc. One of the repairs he has already made here is the Capo di Monte jug made about 1757 (before repair).
