Roving Camera

In our last number, by some accident no doubt connected with alliteration, this machine was referred to as a Bristol Brittania. Said an NAC pilot, reading this in "Photo News", "Grown a little, hasn't it?"

Rub-a-dub-dub, three men in a tub! That seems an appropriate caption for this picture of three members of the Gisborne Canoe Club coming down the wild rapids of the Ruakituri River during an outing last weekend in February. Party found the river too high to reach Waitangi Falls and spent an afternoon initiating the younger members into the hazardous art of river canoeing.

In smoother water, the rubber dinghy is well in control.

The Gisborne Aero Club's new Champion aircraft, which is in New Zealand and expected in Gisborne any day. If it arrives in time, it will be exhibited at the Aero Club's pageant to be held this Saturday.
