Thrills at Big Rodeo

The big rodeo held at the showgrounds in January was an outstanding success and is expected to become an annual fixture.

Although the P. B. East Coast Rodeo Association was formed only two months before the show, organisation was good and riders showed up from all the big East Coast Stations and from as far afield as Taumaranui, Hastings, and Hunterville.

Their picturesque attire and ability on horse and steer made the programme an interesting and exciting, one for the large attendance of the public.
