Regatta on the Harbour

A regatta combining the second round races of the L.V.A Shield rowing competition with speedboat and yachting events drew a large crowd to the harbour on November 30.

Although the power beats and yachts were inclined to interfere with the rowing races in the narrow channel, some good contests were seen. Five of the eight races were won by Gisborne teams.
