Big Day for Children

Sports day at school is always a big day for the children. And at Te Hapara School last month it was an especially exciting day, with free ice creams, rides on the tractor and trailer, sports events of all kinds, and warm summer weather to lure Dad and Mum along to see the fun.

Taking part were a score of children from a Wellington School who were present under an exchange plan (see picture elsewhere).
