Savages Enjoy Night Out

one of the hit shows to be seen on the Opera House stage this season was given before an audience present by invitation only. It was the Ladies' Night programme presented by members of the Gisborne Savage Club, entitled "The Navy Visits a Hong Kong Night Club". Written and produced by Savages N. Aldridge and E. Caughey, the show featured a dragon and assorted characters, oriental and otherwise. Pictures by Wilton Smith show the navy (and the dragon) full steam ahead among the exciting improbabilities of the authors' script.
