New Bowling Pavilion Opened

A big step forward in the history of the Riverside Women's Bowling Club was taken on October 12 when the new season's opening also marked the opening of the club's new pavilion.

In the space of a few years the club has transferred what was a wilderness at the corner of Childers Road and Disraeli Street into an attractive mecca for women bowlers. The new pavilion, with modern amenities, and windows looking out on the greens, sets the seal on all this effort.
