Chinese Soccer Team's Visit

In a thrilling game at Childers Road Reserve, the touring Hong Kong soccer team defeated Poverty Bay by five goals to nil. For a time, after the game started, the local team appeared to have the measure of their opponents, but the clever combination and almost perfect control of the ball exhibited by the visitors soon gave them control of the game, and the issue from then on was never in doubt.
