Left to right, those present are Messrs Chrisp, Martin, Mapleton, price, Cresswell, Berry, Greaves (obscured), Holdsworth, Richardson, Faulkner, Pyke, Graham, Taylor, Moore, and Dunn. The group comprises men prominent in the State Forest Service, Crown Lands and Maori Affairs Departments, farming, sawmilling, and allied trades. The association has been formed to advance knowledge of tree growing and timber conversion and to encourage farm shelter plantings, etc.
