Under a nom-de-plume, a resident of Wainui Road writes:

"The Editor, Photo News.—On a recent Sunday I took some friends up Kaiti Hill to see the view. One, an elderly lady, was not able to leave the car. The visit was disappointing as so much of interest was obscured by the trees. Can you print a picture showing this?—Resident".
