Brownies Bring Gifts
Gisborne Brownies were out in force at Anzac Park the other day, when one of the chief items on the programme was a ceremony in which each Brownie produced a gift for Peper children.
First of all, a wee house was brought on to the park on a cart (right).
Then (below) the girls, having formed a large ring round the house, came up in groups and placed their gifts in the house.
It all added up to an impressive gesture of youthful goodwill for others in less happy circumstances.
The house filled to overflowing with the gifts, Brownies toss streamers over it as a final gesture.
