First in Forty Years

The first Gisborne lodge member to be appointed district grand master of the Manchester Unity Lodge in the past 40 years, Mr R. E. Robb, was honoured by a gathering of 250 lodge members recently. Visitors were present from more than a dozen lodges in other parts of the Auckland province.

Among the visitors was Mr R. T. Scott, the deputy grand master for New Zealand.

Mr Robb was installed in his new position at a ceremony in Auckland some weeks ago.
