Water-Skiing Thrills
Skiing on snow is said to be the most thrilling form of locomotion known to man. Skiing on water can't be far behind in the matter of thrills by the look of these pictures taken recently in Gisborne.
Zipping over the water at more than 30 miles per hour, Peter Williams turned on a great display for the "Photo News" camera. It seemed to make little difference to him whether he had two skis or one, or whether the towing rope was long or short. Peter comes from Ruatoria, and perfected his skill on the Rotorua lakes.
