Where Begonias Bloom

The picture above was. taken in Gisborne's only begonia house, at 536 Gladstone Road, where Mr and Mrs B. H. Dodge grow 250 pots of these choice blooms, covering 80 different varieties. When "Photo News" called the other day, the flowers were at their peak, and almost overwhelming in their variety, ranging from white through yellow, pink, and orange to a deep red.

Begonia display includes hanging basket varieties. All Mr and Mrs Dodge's plants originated with the famous English growers, Blackmore and Langdon, and the majority have coveted awards of merit.
