South African Veterans
Veterans of the South African war will soon be meeting in Gisborne for their annual conference. At left is Mr G. B. Carter, Dominion president of the South African War Veterans' Association, who will preside at the conference. He was secretary and treasurer of the first meeting of the S.A. Contingents Association formed in Gisborne 1903.
