Best man was John Butler, Pine Street, and the matron-of-honour Mrs Margaret Stichbury, Taradale. The flower girls were Jocelyn Webster, Haronga Road (right), and Barbara Leadley, of the Methodist Parsonage. Future home, Kara Street, Kaiti. The bridegroom is a member of the P. and T. staff, and the bride, who has been teaching at Te Hapara, will be the infant mistress at Manutuke school.
