Gerald Fitzgerald, ranking N. Z. champion diver, and Dawn Lett, runner–up for the women's title, who have now left Gisborne. When Mr Fitzgerald returns from the Olympic Games, he will take up a post as assistant superintendent of the new Olympic pool at Naenae, Wellington.

Mr Graham Golding, 2XG announcer, who has been promoted to the post of announcer –in– charge, Dunedin.
Graham came to Gisborne from Wellington in February, 1952. In the same year he played as a winger for the P. B. Rugby representatives.
He is a director of the Gisborne Y.M.C.A. and a member of the Competitions & Repertory Societies. Mrs Golding is a member of the Victoria League.
Before leaving for Dunedin, Graham will spend a month in Rotorua, where he is to "cover" the visit of the Duke of Edinburgh.
He will then return to Gisborne for a time before taking up his new post. Ballantymo
