HEARING AWARENESS WEEK

Quite often deafness in children is not detected creating great difficulty in their understanding of spoken instructions. It may be the underlying cause to behavioural problems. The Public Health Unit was very active in Deafness Awareness Week seeking to test all pre school children. They also promoted the message that we should protect our children's hearing.
