New Punt Launched

As easily as a duck takes to water, the Gisborne Harbour Board's new steel punt slid gently down a ramp into the harbour channel recently.

Monk Brothers used three winches to lift the 30-ton punt on to a transporter, which was eased down to the water's edge until the vessel floated free.
