All Black Parade

Rugby Park was almost like an All Black training camp last month when' Wellington met Poverty Bay for the first time. No fewer than seven All Blacks, or ex-All Blacks, were on the field together.

The Silver Fern men were Ron Jarden, Tom Katene, Jim Fitzgerald, Ian MacEwan, Bill Clark, Ivan Vodanovich (Wellington) and "Tiny" White (Poverty Bay).

Wellington won the thrilling match. 24-nil.
