School Duel

Gisborne and Napier Intermediate Schools crossed swords again in a friendly duel this month.

It was their annual sports tournament, held this time in Gisborne.

Rugby, basketball, soccer, and hockey teams fought hard and well, with the honours shared evenly between the two schools.

Gisborne won the Rugby and the soccer; Napier were on top in the basketball and hockey.

The players from both schools gathered in the evening to be entertained, to dance and, of course, to recall the most memorable incidents of the day's games.

Napier will be the venue for next year's tournament.
