28 A Good Number

Twenty-eight is a good number as far as the Taruheru Branch of C.W.I. is concerned for on September 18 it celebrated its 28th birthday. A large crowd of C.W.I. members, including those from other branches, attended the function in the Abercorn Hall. A feature of this year's celebrations was once again the most enjoyable entertainment put on by Taruheru members — sketches, vocal items, and a very engaging monologue.
