The Big Wheel

The "Come Alive" hobbies exhibition in the St Andrew's Church Hall on April 12 was a great success. One of the most engaging hobbies staged, especially for the younger people, was Mrs Elizabeth Willis's spinning set-up. The big wheel held a certain fascination for many and eight-year-old Nigel Loughton was no exception. Nigel was most intrigued by the mechanics of the wheel and, under Mrs Willis's tuition, tries his hand at spinning.
