A Certificate Of Merit was presented to Mr Norm Lee by the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club to mark 40 years of unselfish service to the club. Mr Lee has been a steward of the club for as long as he has been a member. He has been the announcer for all club meetings and functions for the past 30 years, has been awarded the H.B.-P.B. service badge, and been made a life member of the organisation. He was also announcer at Rugby Park for 23 years and in that time missed two representative and five club games only. Club president Graham Thomas (left) presents the bound certificate to Mr Lee.
