Rare Feat

Not a hair's breadth, nor a split second, divided three competitors in the senior 200m championship at the Girls High School Sports on March 21. A thrilling finish saw the three girls cross the line together, thus creating a triple dead-heat, an event of a very rare nature in the sporting annals of the school.

A colourful innovation at this year's sports was the establishmentof three houses only, namely Lysnar, Duff and Williams, and the exhortations by representatives of these houses for competitors to do their utmost. The scheme obviously worked!
