Hotel Fun
Fun for the audience, that is, as they watch the goings-on in "Plaza Suite," the Neil Simon play being produced by Jack Roderick for Unity Theatre. On stage at Unity from May 3 thru' 8 the production actually contains three plays, all taking place in the same suite at the Plaza Hotel in New York. Neil Simon is one of America's top playwrights — he wrote the original "The Odd Couple." Pamela Strange and Mike Sagar take the leading roles in each of the three plays. Scenes from "Plaza Suite" include
Pamela Strange and Mike Sagar (at back), with Rob Lawrence and Rosemary Carlyle, in "Visitor From Forest Hills," wherein a couple get their daughter married off at last.
In "Visitor From Mamaroneck" a couple revisit the suite where they honeymooned 23 years ago.
In "Visitor From Hollywood" a film producer's wife suspects infidelity between her husband and his secretary. The smiles are not so sweet as they look.
In "Visitor From Forest Hills" a hilarious situation develops as the husband attempts to get his daughter out of the bathroom by getting along the outside parapet — 25 stories up!
