Representatives At Nationals

Four local swimmers travelled to the National Age Group Swimming Championships as part of the Hawke's Bay-Poverty Bay Team. The nationals were held in New Plymouth from February 21 to 23. Selection for the nationals is gained through time trials and the selection of the local four is indeed a boost to swimming in Gisborne. Although not making a big splash (if you'll pardon the pun) the group did quite well and the experience, especially, will stand them in good stead in the future.
