A Christmas 21st

Mrs Mavis Stubbings held a very enjoyable party for her present and past pupils to celebrate Christmas, and the 21st birthday of her kindergarten in De Lautour Road. Mrs Stubbings has been running her establishment with marked success for the past 21 years, and for the last 13 years has had Mrs Joan Stevenson as her assistant.

Father Christmas visited the party, much to the delight of all the children.

Eleven of the Maori children going to the kindergarten gave a delightful little action song.

Part of the scene as Mrs Stubbings speaks to the gathering. Some of the first pupils at the kindergarten now have children of their own going to the kindy.
