Ride a Painted Pony?

Rex Briant of Patutahi is now the proud owner of a piebald pony. He won the horse in the "Jucy Paint-A-Pony Competition," conducted throughout the Auckland, Poverty Bay and Hawke's Bay districts by Innes Schweppes. Local manager Frank Mead looks on as Rex, who entered quite a number of paintings in the competition, proudly sits astride his new pony.
