Fashion Scouts

Or rather fashions for Scouts, A very successful wine and cheese evening, and fashion parade, was organised in the Midway pavilion to raise funds for the Takitimu Sea Scout group. A large attendance of parents and friends came by to see the fashions from Starforme.

Kristine Boyle (formerly Kristine Allan, and a Miss New Zealand) was one of the models, She modelled this orange Swiss wool georgette evening gown at the end of the parade. The gown was designed for her appearance in London in the Miss World contest. Other models included
