Meeting For 3 Reps

New Zealand representatives in three sports (rugby, cricket and soccer) Ian Kirkpatrick, Glenn Turner and Iain Gillies, met in Gisborne recently. Each was on an important mission – Kirkie having the All Black tour to Ireland in view, Glenn facing up to the touring MCC side, and "Rogie" thinking he couldn't have a better assignment on his first day in his new appointment as Chief Reporter of the Gisborne Herald than interviewing the two men he considers "New Zealand's greatest sporting ambassadors."
