C.W.I. Birthday

The Taruheru Branch of C.W.I. held a very enjoyable party in the Abercorn Hall to celebrate its 27th birthday. Members went to a lot of work to provide the entertainment and afternoon tea for their own members and other C.W.I. branch guests.

The “Taruheru Waxworks” also gave the audience plenty of laughs. In this part of the group are, from left Chu Chin Chou (Margaret Hay), Can Can Girl (Edith Blair), Campbell of Argyle (Moira Mann), Yum Yum of Mikado fame (Vesty Saunders) and Charleston Girl (Dorrie Warren).
