The Biggest Snapper

The biggest snapper we have seen (or possibly anyone else, for that matter) was speared by Brian Anderson of Steele Road recently. Unfortunately the fish's weight of 281b 4oz cannot be claimed as a spear-fishing record as Brian does not belong to an underwater spearfishing club. Needless to say he is having his arm twisted! Speared in the water off Pouawa the snapper measured 35½ inches from tip to tip.
