Queens' Concerted Effort

A full scale Queen Carnival is now underway to raise as much money as possible towards the immediate target of $50,000 for the War Memorial Hall Theatre project. Ninety thousand dollars is the actual amount needed to complete the conversion from hall to theatre, A champagne evening was held in the Power Board Rooms on July 5 to introduce the Queen candidates to the public.
