The Oldest Ticker...

Still ticking away merrily, and in extra-ordinarily good condition, is this Omega pocket watch entered by Mr Ralph Steele in Hammon Jewellers' oldest Omega watch competition. It is calculated to have been made in 1889, thus making it 85 years old. The key wind watch is in A1 condition, which is remarkable considering it was found under an old house being demolished by Mr Steele. He won the prize of a new Omega F300 electronic watch.
